If you would like to continue your training or you need to access your course again it is very simple. When you log-in you are automatically directed to your dashboard. Here you will see the Illinois BASSET Official logo, your email address and the date you registered (and the expiry date of your account). Under this you will see a simple menu. Just click on Courses and then select the course you would like to continue and follow the instructions. Remember, if you have any issues at all you can email us for support at support@illinoisBASSETofficial.com
Do not worry!
All of our courses allow the user to re-take the tests as many times as they need in order to pass. You can review what answers you got wrong and go back and re-watch those parts of the course.
Make sure to watch any part of the course you need to in order to fully understand the content.
The Food Handler training takes about 45 minutes to complete and is complied of 1 video and a test. Do not worry if you do not pass the test the first time, you can re-take it as many times as you need.
The course itself is broken down into 10 separate video lessons and take between 3 – 4 hours to complete. You can pause and restart the course as many times as you want. Once you complete the training videos you then have to pass the final test. This test has 40 questions and you have 60 minutes to complete it. Don’t worry if you do not pass the test the first time, you can re-take it as many times as you need.
You will be certified for 3 years after completing either Food Handler training or a BASSET training course. You will also be able to access both certificates through your profile for the entire 3 years, so there on hand whenever you need to access them.
BASSET is the State of Illinois’ certification class for sellers/servers of alcohol. It stands for Beverage Alcohol Sellers & Servers Education and Training.

Using coupons is easy. To start all you have to do is click on any of the “Get Certified” or “Register / Sing-Up” links on the website. Once you register you can add your coupon at the checkout page. This will make the course free of charge as your employer would have already paid.
Once you complete your training your certificate(s) will automatically appear in your employers account so they have access to it without you having to do anything!

Within your profile page you can see the “Associated business account number.” To change the business that you’re associated with, simply ask your employer for their business account number (the business must first have an account with us).
Once you have their account number, simply enter it into the “Associated business account number” field and press SAVE CHANGES AT the bottom of the page. This will automatically link your BASSET card and your Food Handler Certificate with the new business.

Business

First, you decide how many certificates you will need to purchase based on the number of people needing the certification. More coupons can be added at any time, but it is always good to have a few extra on hand for new hires or for employees who become due for renewal.Immediately after purchasing a group package, you will receive an email that includes the automatically generated coupon code.
IMPORTANT: The code IS case sensitive, so be sure that your employees enter it exactly as it appears in the email.
As each employee registers using your coupon code, you will see their information generate on your Business profile page. You will see when they registered and when it was completed. Once the card has been uploaded by our Admin team from the ILCC database, you will also have access to their card for download or print. (Each employee will also have access to their card via their own profiles.)
If at any time you need to add more coupons, you can do so through your Business profile page.
Below you can see the business profile page. You can access it by clicking on “Business Account” in the menu
- You can see how many coupons you have left,
- how many you used and buy more for the different branches
- Once one of your employees have finished their training and passed the test their Certificate will automatically appear here so you can view and download it whenever you need it.

We offer a way for employers to easily and seamlessly keep track of all of their employees’ certifications at the click of a button. You can view all employees certificates from any course, download them when needed, see expiry dates and even automatically list them per branch if your business has more than 1 location.
Employees simply register through the employer-given coupon code to have all of their certificates accessible to both them and their employer through their profile.
For employees that have taken courses without using their employer’s coupon code (or who have changed jobs), allowing their new employer access to their account is done so by adding the new employer’s account number to their profile.
All of this for only $8.95.
Your account number allows you to add any person who is already certified through our website automatically to your business account page. Simply give your account number to your employee who is already certified and get them to add it in their profile page. Once they do that, their information will automatically appear on your business account page.
No need to ask them for there certificate or details.
Your business’ account number allows anyone who is BASSET or Food Handler certified through our website to link their certificates and details automatically to your business account page. Simply give your business account number to your employee (who is already certified) and tell them to add it to their profile page. Once they do that, their information will automatically appear on your business account page.
If you gave your employee a coupon code to get certified then this process is automatic and you do not need to do anything.
Step 1:
The first thing to do is click on any “Business Account” or “Business Account Customer” links on our website.

Step 2:
After you click on one of the “Business Account” links you will be brought to a register page where you will set up your business account with some of your business details.

Step 3:
After this you will be brought to your business profile where you will be able to set up your different branches (if you business has more than 1 location).


Step 4:
Once you set up a branch you will then be able to buy coupon codes for this branch.

Choose the amount of coupon codes you wish to purchase (you can always add more at a later date if needed)

After you choose how many you need to purchase you will be brought to the checkout page. Here you will eneter your payment and business details.
**Please Note: It is very important you choose which branch you are buying the coupons for. You can see where to select this from the image below.

Step 5:
Simply give the code to your employees and when they register and complete the training there BASSET and Food Handler certificates will appear in a list under the branch code you gave them.

You will be able to see who’s certified , who’s not, download there certificates and delete them when they move on.
